Lux Europa was an exhibition in Edinburgh of European artists who work with light. The curator's choice of the medium light was based on two ideas. First, the meaning of light as a universal metaphor for affirmation and second, the need to bring light to dark, gloomy Scottish winter days. All participating artists were free in their choice of location.
